About Luana; Artist Biography and Shows
Luana Sallustio, a 22-year-old artist from Zurich with Italian roots, constantly challenges herself—whether through commissioned work or personal passion projects. Each painting is one of a kind, deeply connected to her artistic journey.
Starting with colored pencils and felt-tip pens, she transitioned to oil on canvas, embracing a spontaneous and intuitive approach. Over the years, she has explored various media like acrylic, graphite, pastel, and wax, but oil remains her primary focus. Her art is more romantic than realistic, characterized by dreamy, colorful compositions that play with light and evoke emotion.
Rather than simply replicating nature, Luana captures what feels authentic to her, using expressive, gestural strokes to create movement and depth. Her impressionistic light play adds an almost ethereal quality, drawing viewers into a world where emotion and color take center stage.
Beyond painting, she brings her creativity into UI/UX design, specializing in brand identity and digital experiences. Working with renowned Swiss brands, she contributes to innovative marketing strategies and iconic campaigns.
